What if I forget my password?
You can reset it, but your mail, chats and vault items are sealed with keys made from it, so what was sealed with the old password can't be opened again, by you or by us. While you still know it, you can change it whenever you like: new mail, chats and items are sealed to the new key, and to open anything sealed with the old password you enter that password once, in the browser.
Can I have a personal account and a work one?
Not at once. You can belong to several businesses and choose which to sign in to, but creating or joining a business replaces your personal account, after you confirm.
Can my company sign in with Okta, Entra ID or Google?
Not yet: there's no SAML or SCIM. Mission Control is itself the sign-in, and your own apps can use it over OpenID Connect. What IT teams ask
How do I delete my account?
In Mission Control. A deleted account or business can be restored for 30 days. Deleting your Orbit identity takes effect at once and signs you out of every app.
Orbit Mail
Do I need my own domain?
Yes. Orbit Mail is email and a calendar on a domain you own, from Starter up. Domains and addresses
Can I use Apple Mail, Outlook or Thunderbird?
No. Orbit Mail doesn't use IMAP or POP, because every message is sealed to your key and opened only in Orbit Mail's own apps, on the web and for Mac, Windows and Linux, with iPhone and iPad apps on the way.
Can I bring my old mail?
Yes, as an .mbox or .eml export from Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail or Thunderbird. How
Is mail to a Gmail address encrypted?
Only until it leaves Orbit. Mail to and from people on other providers passes through their servers, which can read it, as all email does. Orbit Mail shows a green lock on conversations that stayed within Orbit.
Is the calendar encrypted?
Not end to end, yet: an event's title, time, place, attendees and notes are stored in a form our servers can read.
How big can attachments be?
25 MB each when you send, and a message you receive can be up to 50 MB. Every limit
Orbit Chat
Are calls encrypted?
Yes. Audio and video go device to device, encrypted between them. When no direct route exists, a relay forwards the encrypted media without being able to decrypt it.
Can I bring our Slack history?
No. Orbit Chat doesn't import other apps' history. Moving from Slack

Everyone in your business, even before they first open it, so they can be added to channels from day one.

Can I leave with my passwords?
Yes. You can move your vaults to another password manager whenever you like.
How many items can a vault hold?
20,000, and a business can have up to 500 shared vaults.

Where do my chats go?
To the model you pick, through the providers named on Orbit AI's page and in the Privacy Policy. The small models in the other apps, like the one that sorts your inbox, run on your device. How Orbit's AI works
Can I attach files?
Up to 6 a message, 10 MB each.
Orbit IDE and Orbit Browser
Do I need an account?
No. Both are free for everyone, with no account. Orbit IDE keeps your projects and keys on your computer, and Orbit Browser is Mozilla's Firefox with Orbit AI and Orbit Pass built in.
Phones and Android
Is there an Android app?
No, there are no Orbit apps for Android. On an Android phone, open Orbit AI, Orbit Mail, Orbit Chat and the Orbit Pass vault in the browser. Orbit MDM does manage Android phones for an organization.
Are the iPhone apps in the App Store?
Each app's download page says whether it's in the App Store yet or still coming.
