An inbox that sorts itself

The AI inside Orbit's apps doesn't need your data on our servers to be useful. Each feature is a small model trained for one job. Most run on your device, shipped inside the app, so your encrypted mail and passwords stay encrypted and the answer arrives before you notice it was asked; the one that decides how loudly new mail should notify you runs on our server, from the sender and subject only. Chatting with Orbit AI is different: big models answer in the cloud, and we say exactly where.
Not a chatbot that tries everything. A model that sorts mail only sorts mail, and is very good at it.
Shipped inside the app, run where your data already is. No download, no waiting, no upload.
Anything Orbit AI decided carries a small violet sparkle beside it, so you always know.

Each model is trained on synthetic examples from invented companies, then tested on hand-written ones from the real world that it never trained on. These are those results, as published with each model.
The inbox model turns a message's subject and sender into features: each word of the subject and each pair of words, the sender's name, the sender's domain and the shape of the address. It looks each one up among the 16,384 it learned, with weights stored as 8-bit numbers, and adds them up into a score for every kind of mail.
Orbit Pass's field model does the same with a form field: its label, placeholder, attributes, nearby text and the shape of its form, against 8,192 features and 23 kinds of field.

Tens of thousands of examples from invented companies, in many languages. No customer's mail or form ever trains a model.
A hand-written test set from real companies and real sites, kept out of training, so the score means something.
The web and the desktop apps run the same weights, and tests check they reach the same answer.
Every model ships with its size, speed, accuracy and mistakes written down, like the numbers on this page.
Some jobs need a large model or have to happen before your device has the data. In each case it sees as little as the job allows.
Encrypted mail, chat and passwords with small models that help without looking over your shoulder. Free to start.
