Orbit Pass for Mac
Open the download and drag Orbit Pass to your Applications folder.
- macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple silicon or Intel.
- Once installed, Orbit Pass checks Orbit for new releases.
- Sign in with your Orbit account. Create one free.
Orbit Pass for Windows
Run the installer, and Orbit Pass is ready in the Start menu.
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.

Orbit Pass for Linux
Pick your distribution: each takes the build that suits it, installed with its own package manager. Or install every Orbit app at once with the Orbit Installer for Linux.

- 64-bit Linux with WebKitGTK 4.1: Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12, Fedora 38, openSUSE Tumbleweed or later, or any distribution for the AppImage.
- The AppImage keeps itself up to date. The .deb and .rpm are updated by the Orbit Installer, or a newer package.
- Sign in with your Orbit account. Create one free.

The iPhone and iPad app is on its way. Until it arrives, open Orbit in your phone's browser and sign in with your Orbit account.

Orbit Pass for Mac fills passwords, passkeys and codes in Safari through AutoFill.

Coming to Firefox Add-ons. Orbit Browser, built on Firefox, has it already.
Installing the downloaded extension
- Unzip it. Open the download; you get a folder with
manifest.jsoninside. - Turn on developer mode. Go to
chrome://extensionsand switch on Developer mode, top right. - Load it. Press Load unpacked and choose the folder.
- Pin it and sign in. Pin Orbit Pass from the puzzle-piece menu and sign in with your Orbit account.
An extension loaded this way does not update itself; download it again for a newer release. Its code, encryption included, is open source — read or build it yourself before you load it.
