Orbit Installer for Linux

Paste this in a terminal. It lists every Orbit app packaged for Linux, each one ticked; untick what you don't want and it installs the newest release of the rest, the right way for your distribution.

curl -fsSL https://orbit.com.ai/install.sh | bash

Read it first: install.sh. Add -s -- --all after bash to install every app without asking.

Or save it, check it against its SHA-256 and only then run it:

curl -fsSLO https://orbit.com.ai/install.sh && echo "ac44d66aadad0d0a4e168123d6b007adcd6078c150c0d2233aea23a005030f33 install.sh" | sha256sum -c && bash install.sh

What it installs

Every Orbit desktop app, each ticked to start with.

The installer lists them all. Untick the ones you don't want and it installs the rest. The Mac and Windows apps then keep themselves up to date; on Linux, AppImages update themselves and you re-run the installer to update .deb and .rpm packages.

  • Orbit IDE. A code editor with the AI agents you already use built in.
