How business billing works
Your Orbit account is either personal or a business. To invite people, create a business from your profile in Mission Control.
A license per person
A business is billed for each license it assigns: $3 a user a month on Starter, $6 on Pro, $16 on Max. Assign them to your people in Mission Control, and change them whenever you like.
Mix plans across your team
Give Pro to the people who need the premium AI, the cheaper Starter to the rest, and leave anyone else on Free. You pay the sum of the licenses you assign, minimum 2 on a paid plan.
A business replaces your personal account
Creating or joining a business deletes your personal account, after you confirm, because you're one or the other. Someone removed from their last business gets a new personal account the next time they sign in.

- Do I need a card to start?
- No. Free is free, with no card and no trial clock. Add a card only when you upgrade.
- Is a plan per app?
- No. One plan covers Orbit AI, Orbit Chat, Orbit Pass and Mission Control, and Orbit Mail from Starter up. There is nothing to buy per app.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes, on the Starter plan, without the premium AI chat. Claim up to 20 Starter licenses free for 14 days — Orbit Mail on your own domain and every app, without the premium AI chat. No card, and you are never charged for the trial; when it ends, keep the licenses by adding a card or let them drop to Free.
- Can everyone be on a different plan?
- Yes. Licenses are per person: assign Pro to some of your team, the cheaper Starter to others, and leave the rest on Free. You are billed the sum of the licenses you assign, and can change any of them at any time.
- How much AI does each plan include?
- Free and Starter include 5,000 tokens a month on the standard models. What you type and the replies both count, so that's a handful of short conversations. Pro and Max have no limit on the standard models and add the premium ones up to a monthly allowance, the larger on Max. Orbit AI shows how much of it you've used and when it resets, and past it you carry on with the standard models.
- How do I pay?
- By card on the web, billed monthly in US dollars. There is no annual plan.
- Can I change or cancel later?
- Yes, at any time from your account. A downgrade or a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you paid for, and then you move to that plan or to Free. What you've stored stays until you delete it.
- Do you give refunds?
- Payments aren't refundable, and a part of a month isn't credited, except where the law says otherwise. Cancel before the next renewal and you won't be charged again.
- Can I take my data with me?
- Yes. Export any conversation from Orbit AI, move your Orbit Pass vaults to another password manager, and ask us for a copy of everything else we hold about you.
- What if I forget my password?
- You can reset it, but your mail, chats and vault items are sealed with it, and what was sealed with the old password can't be opened again. Nobody can recover it for you, including us, so keep it somewhere safe.
